A police cordon was established around Mill Road Bridge in Cambridge on the afternoon of February 18 following the discovery of a suspected World War II bomb in a garden. The bridge was closed, preventing both traffic and pedestrians from passing, while multiple police vehicles secured the area.
Explosive experts attended the scene and safely removed the item, later confirming it was inert.
