Unexploded bomb found in a loft

An unexploded military device found in a loft in St Annes led to evacuations and a 100m safety cordon being put in place. Explosive Ordnance Disposal teams removed the device and transported it to the beach. It was safely detonated in a controlled explosion, allowing residents to return home with minimal disruption.
