While renovating his garden in Wrexham, a man discovered a buried cache of World War II-era ammunition linked to a former Home Guard station. He alerted police, who confirmed the site had historical military ties and called in Explosive Ordnance Disposal experts. The ammunition was safely seized for destruction, highlighting how remnants from the war continue to surface decades later.
