Anti-Aircraft round found in Norwich River Wensum

A suspected unexploded anti-aircraft artillery round was discovered in Norwich’s River Wensum after a teenage boy pulled it from the water while magnet fishing with his family. Police closed several roads around Bishop Bridge, Kett’s Hill, Gas Hill, and Riverside Road while bomb disposal experts assessed the device. The specialists safely neutralized it by 3:15 pm, allowing roads to reopen shortly before 4 pm.
