An unexploded ordnance found in the Peak District was safely destroyed by a bomb disposal unit after a multi-agency response and safety cordon were put in place. Police, park rangers, and other teams worked together to manage the situation. The device was identified as allied ordnance from between 1945 and 1960 and was disposed of in a controlled explosion.
