2 Unexploded WWII bombs found in 2 days in Mersyside

An unexploded World War II bomb discovered in Bootle, Merseyside, led to road closures and the evacuation of 500 people before being safely detonated by the Army's Explosive Ordnance Disposal team at Ainsdale Beach in Southport. A second suspected device was later found at a construction site on the same street, prompting further safety measures. Authorities advised motorists to seek alternative routes while the area remained cordoned off.
